When play data isn't appearing in your Parent App, it usually means the child's progress simply hasn't "synced" to our servers. Your child's progress is saved temporarily on their tablet and is permanently saved to the Mightier servers (synced) when you have a strong Wi-Fi connection.
If the tablet is not automatically syncing or won’t sync at all, then please follow these steps:
- Make sure your tablet is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Close the Mightier app, then reopen it. On the first screen you see, tap the Log Out button (a door with an "exit" symbol) in the upper left corner.
- When you click on “log out,” you will be prompted to connect to Wi-Fi if you aren’t already connected. Once connected, the Mightier app will sync your data before actually logging out so no progress will be lost in doing so. Doing this step will "reset" the automatic syncing function to work properly again.
A note about what Mightier counts as play time: We track playtime when kids are actively playing within a game. We do not track time spent in between levels, or when a player is on the Mightier home screen.
A note about the Mightier Parent App dashboards: You can refresh your Parent App dashboard by pulling down from the top. This will pull in the most recent play. Just a note though— Currently, there is a few minutes' delay between syncing and the data showing up, so we recommend waiting 5-10 minutes after syncing before refreshing your Parent App.
