Gizmode allows your child to monitor their heart rate rises during activities outside of Mightier gameplay, such as playing a video game on another device, watching TV, reading, or doing homework. By using Gizmode, children can become more aware of how their emotions affect their physical state and practice calming strategies in real-time.
You can access Gizmode in the Mightier Kid app by visiting the Camp screen and clicking this icon:
When Gizmode is open, Gizmo, Mightier's guide, will appear in the center of the screen. If your child's heart rate rises above their baseline, Gizmo will alert them that they are entering the red zone, and Lavalings will appear on-screen. Once they use a calming strategy and return to their blue zone, the Lavalings will disappear.
